- What are "OutPost Perks"?
OutPost Perks, which we started in the Fall of 2012, is our way of thanking our loyal customers for their support and patronage! As you place orders with us you are rewarded OutPost Perks. For every $10.00 spent another Perk gets added to your account. You can then use your Perks to treat yourself to products on our site. On each product page you can see how many Perks are needed to grab an item at no charge. Perks are awarded per account, are not retroactive and are not transferable to other accounts. You'll want to be sure that you use the same account login so that your Perks are awarded to one account for future use. You can check "Perks" status on your My Account page. Read more here...
- I have a discount code... where do I enter it?
On the VIEW CART page (see the "Check Out" Dog Tag in the mini-cart in the right sidebar). If you have a discount code, make sure you enter the code in the "Discount Box" right under the list of items in your cart on the actual cart page (View Cart) and then hit the "Apply Discount" button. Your shopping cart will be automatically updated to reflect the discount amount and then you can proceed through checkout. Discount codes do not apply to our 275 Bulk Tactical Cord, Support the Troops Charity Bracelet and Gift Certificates.
PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST ENTER YOUR COUPON CODE WHEN PLACING YOUR ORDER AS ORDERS WILL NOT BE REVISED TO INCLUDE DISCOUNTS RETROACTIVELY ONCE AN ORDER IS PLACED.
- How do I make sure my item/paracord bracelet fits?
By not guessing and using the instructions here. If you follow the instructions and provide that info to me (this goes for dog collars too) I'll ensure your item fits you comfortably based on the info you provide.
IMPORTANT: Do not guess; do not surmise. SIZE MATTERS!
Use these instructions and your bracelet will fit properly.
Bracelets can be up to 9 inches in length. If you are looking for longer lengths check out our paracord ankle bracelet or paracord dog collar. Longer lengths requires more cord and therefore will incur additional charges so feel free to e-mail me with details of what you are looking for and I'll provide a quote.
- What if my bracelet gets wet?
In our experience the folks who wear paracord bracelets do tend to get them wet. That is why we add 3/8" to the overall length of the bracelet to account for shrinkage. Depending on the yarns used by the cord manufacturer the amount of shrinkage varies a small bit but never more than the 3/8" we add. The shrinkage only happens one time, after that the cord is stable.
- What is your return policy?
If something isn't right, e-mail me and you can count on us to make it right! However, as I am sure you can understand, I cannot be expected to incur replacement/modification costs and return shipping for those who do not provide accurate measurements or correct order details. That is why we offer gentle reminders throughout the order process to review order details, again in the order confirmation e-mail and also in the e-mail sent when Judi sends an order out to my shop.
I custom knot each item just for you based on your order therefore all sales are final. That is why it is so important for you to measure your wrist per the instructions on this site and double-check your order details upon check-out ("Please check through the items you are ordering below and make sure they are correct.").
Measured wrong and your bracelet is too big?
For a small fee I'll modify your bracelet based on the new measurement you provide (we can shorten bracelets but cannot lengthen after the fact). As a courtesy, please contact me within 30 days of receipt of your order so we can discuss how to best proceed. All returns must have our RMA # on the outside of the box/envelope to be accepted. Items shipped back to us without an RMA number or the courtesy of discussing with us first will be refused.
- What type of clasps do your bracelets have?
All bracelets come with our standard plastic contour buckle. You can upgrade to our TactiCool Stainless Steel ADJUSTABLE Shackle for only $4.00 more. The adjustable portion of the shackle is now also Stainless Steel as of 4/26/12.
- What if I want something custom?
I'm all about doing custom work! However, I have to be careful when entertaining custom jobs so I can maintain the service levels my customers have come to expect. Just shoot me an e-mail with what you are looking for and I'll let you know!
- How quickly do you ship?
Keep in mind each of your items are handmade to order. LOE and Military orders are given first priority. We generally ship within 24-48 hours.
Due to the amount of knotting required on larger orders and dog leashes, these orders will take more time.
- How do I know when my order has shipped?
You will receive an e-mail from us noting your item(s) are on the way. If you upgraded to USPS Priority your e-mail will include your tracking number. We now also offer tracking numbers for Delivery Confirmation on First Class packages as well. @hotmail.com, @yahoo.com and @aol.com customers please be sure to add "firstname.lastname@example.org" to your approved senders or white-list so you get our e-mail confirmations.
- How long will my order take to get to me?
We are in zip code 38668 in northern Mississippi. First Class USPS will vary to your location. Let's be real -- Uncle Sam's postal service is not the most consistent or reliable -- so plan on 3-5 days to get your package; 7-10 if you are on either coast. We highly recommend if you want to get your items quicker and have a tracking number that you can upgrade to Priority using our special customer deal for only $4.95 which takes 2-3 days from our location to yours once in Uncle Sam's hands (and even that isn't guaranteed by USPS!).
- What are your shipping costs?

All items are shipped USPS First Class Mail and you have the choice of upgrading to USPS Priority at our discounted rate if you desire. If you need expedited shipping because you have a special day, birthday or event you need my items for, just e-mail me and we can discuss how best to reach your target date!
- What if I have a question about my order?
You can login to your account to check status. Or, just e-mail us with your order number so we can identify your order and get back to you with the answers to your questions.
- Do you ship Internationally?
You bet! Orders received from outside the USA will incur additional shipping fees. For tracking purposes we only ship USPS Priority outside of the United states. Simply place your order (except where noted to request a quote first) and our system will calculate your the Priority shipping fees to your location.
Paracord Paul® is not responsible for any duties, taxes, import fees or brokerage fees that may be associated with your order. That responsibility lies solely with you and your country's postal service. We are not knowledgeable about country-specific import regulations and will not be responsible for fees/damages or issuance of refunds associated with noncompliance, therefore, we strongly encourage you to research all of the policies and regulations for your country prior to placing an order with us.
- Do you charge sales tax?
Being we are located in the fine state of Mississippi, sales tax of 7% is only collected from those who also reside in Mississippi.
- Do you offer wholesale pricing?
We do not offer wholesale pricing off our already low prices to retailers or the general public. With the exception of our 275 Tactical Cord which is manufactured for us we do not sell kits or supplies for folks to make their own products. We will consider offering discounts to charity events and special causes that we believe in. Feel free to contact us with your information for more details.
- What if I have a donation request?
We get several e-mails every day asking for free products (some for hundreds or thousands of free products!) for this or that team, squad or cause. Being we are a veteran run small business -- just Judi and I -- and our product line is geared towards military and law enforcement, when we can make donations it is at our discretion and only to those groups and orgs that benefit our Military, Wounded Warriors and their families.
